Studio Pilates classes at Brisbane Sports Medicine are instructed by an experienced therapist with a sports science background. These classes are designed to reform, re-balance and revive your whole-body connection and help activate and strengthen the weak and tight muscles all in the one class. Reformer machines are used in our classes which allow you to work against resistance that can be adjusted to suit your individual level of fitness, this means anyone can do Studio Pilates.

Our instructor Jenni is a Remedial Soft Tissue Therapist with 25 years experience. She has had experience with a diverse range of elites, Olympic and children athletes. Pilates enhances performance, prevents injuries reoccurring and helps maintain stability and strength, while athletes are growing in different ways including confidence and maturity. This is all part of performing at there best and achieving there short and long-term goals.

If you are looking at improving your fitness for marathons, triathlon’s, trekking or just general fitness this class is for you. Pregnant women are welcome. Please let reception know if you are pregnant or have any injuries when booking your class.

We would recommend that you wear something comfortable that you are able to move freely in. Socks are recommended on our reformers for hygiene reasons.

Please bring your own towel and water bottle. Bottles of water can be purchased in clinic. We ask that you wear socks on the reformer for hygiene reasons. Grip socks can be purchased in clinic.

JENNI O’NEILL

Remedial Massage Therapist
QAS/AIS Soft Tissue Therapist provider

Jenni O’Neill is a Remedial Soft Tissue Therapist with over 20 years of experience in Remedial Massage Therapies. Her interests lies in maintaining the soft tissue for varoius musculoskeletal injuries such as frozen shoulder, Achilles, elbow and wrist pain and spinal tightness. She has kept adding to her career with a Level 2 Sports Trainer, Matt & Reformer Pilates Instructing. Jenni is an experienced Allied Health professional with exceptional skills in developing relationships with a diverse range of patients.

She has extensive experience with a wide range of elite athletes, sports and sporting teams at the club, state, national and international level. Teams include the 2012 Olympic Rowing, Australian & Queensland Cricket, QAS Men’s & Women’s Water Polo, Qld Heat Softball, Qld State of Origin, ARL, GBRL, Rugby 7’s, Brisbane Boys and Girls Grammar Schools, and various AIS and QAS athletes in individual sports.
