About Jenni O’Neill

Jenni O’Neill is a Remedial Soft Tissue Therapist with over 20 years of experience in Remedial Massage Therapies. Her interests lies in maintaining the soft tissue for varoius musculoskeletal injuries such as frozen shoulder, Achilles, elbow and wrist pain and spinal tightness. She has kept adding to her career with a Level 2 Sports Trainer, Matt & Reformer Pilates Instructing. Jenni is an experienced Allied Health professional with exceptional skills in developing relationships with a diverse range of patients.

She has extensive experience with a wide range of elite athletes, sports and sporting teams at the club, state, national and international level. Teams include the 2012 Olympic Rowing, Australian & Queensland Cricket, QAS Men’s & Women’s Water Polo, Qld Heat Softball, Qld State of Origin, ARL, GBRL, Rugby 7’s, Brisbane Boys and Girls Grammar Schools, and various AIS and QAS athletes in individual sports.

Jenni is also uniquely qualified to provide treatment to those who have experienced mastectomy, lumpectomy, biopsy and reconstruction of the breast. Jenni has found that the combination of myofascial release, relaxation and lymphatic drainage can have a positive effect on a patient’s self-esteem, mobility and pain relief. The effectiveness of myofascial massage specific to the breast, chest and shoulder area with pain or discomfort helps increase mobility among patients who have undergone a mastectomy or other breast surgery.

Now that she has broadened her knowledge with Reformer Pilates, Jenni now can maintain her work with her clients not just on a massage table but also with rehabilitation exercises on the Pilates Reformer.

Jenni is friendly and passionate about her job and understands the benefits of soft tissue therapy for her clients and athletes from 27 years of playing softball at an elite level herself.
