About Adam Smith

Adam Smith is an APA Sports Physiotherapist. Having graduated in 1999 with a Physiotherapy degree, he went on to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy (Sports) degree, expanding his knowledge of sport specific injury prevention and management. Adam currently works at Queensland Cricket, Queensland Academy of Sport and Brisbane Sports Medicine.

Adam has extensive experience in treating sports injuries and over the past 23 years Adam has supported and travelled both domestically and internationally with a number of national teams including Australian Triathlon, Australian Water Polo, and Australian Sailing. Adam has also worked as a Physiotherapist at Queensland Cricket for over 10 years and currently works with both the Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat teams.

With a specific interest in working with shoulder and sporting injuries of the spine, Adam is passionate about working with both developing and professional athletes to help them achieve their best.
